Description

Ran the one liner command

curl -fsSL https://install.danklinux.com | sh

Used the defaults for debian.

It seems that DMS one-line install script does not support Arm64? Logs indicate it tried to install x86_64 packages, but arm packages exist in OBS repo.

Potential workaround seems to install manually following installation instructions - https://danklinux.com/docs/dankmaterialshell/installation (also install other packages listed in Dependency Review, since installation instructions don't tell to install stuff like niri and ghostty)

Hi there, thanks for the report. The one line installer should be fixed when we push the hotfix v1.4.1 update which should be here soon.

There is no dms for arm64 build on debian 13 repository. but dms-git has dms-git for arm64.

There certainly is an ARM64 build for DMS. We offer ARM64 and x86 throughout all our supported distributions. The issue @E-Leask reported should be fixed as of the DMS v1.4.1 release.

This seems to still persist, at least for me:

I would note that it's trying to install 1.4.3. Is it related to Raspberry Pi OS instead of Debian?

Thanks! I have not yet had a chance to test it, and won't for a week or two. But I will definitely try it out and provide feedback. Thanks for the quick response!
