WakeGPT 0.1.1 — macOS release

WakeGPT 0.1.1 is a small visual, reliability, and release-integrity update for the macOS prototype.

Changes

  • Replaces the handwritten-looking menu-bar W with a compact stacked-note mark that matches the main WakeGPT icon.
  • Uses finer supersampling so the 22×18 macOS template icon stays cleaner at menu-bar size.
  • Extends the bounded local ChatGPT/Codex endpoint probe from 800 ms to 2 seconds, preventing a cold loopback connection from being misclassified as stale.
  • Makes release inventory, license, and updater tests follow the current package version instead of a hard-coded release number.
  • Normalizes Rust source paths during release builds and rejects any Universal App that contains a local macOS user-home path.

Download and first launch

WakeGPT_0.1.1_universal.dmg contains Apple Silicon (arm64) and Intel (x86_64) code. Download it only from this GitHub Release and verify it with SHA256SUMS.txt.

The app and DMG have complete ad-hoc code seals; the app also enables hardened runtime. They are not signed with an Apple Developer ID and are not notarized by Apple. macOS may block the first launch. Try opening WakeGPT once, then choose System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Do not disable Gatekeeper or run an unknown xattr command.

Known limitations

  • This is a full GitHub Release. WakeGPT remains an early macOS prototype, and a clean-Mac Gatekeeper download and first-launch test is outstanding.
  • Runtime behavior is verified on Apple Silicon macOS. The bundle contains an Intel slice, but physical Intel Mac execution is not yet verified.
  • The ChatGPT side card is experimental and supports only the exact host versions recorded by this source tag. It disables itself when the host contract does not match.
  • Windows x64 is not included and has not been verified on physical Windows hardware.
  • Automatic updates are not enabled in this release; update by installing a newer verified DMG.

Integrity and licensing

This Release includes SHA-256 checksums, a CycloneDX 1.6 SBOM, the resolved dependency license inventory, and bundled third-party license texts. Source tag: v0.1.1; commit: 2b146f94cf5ea62105e7e1133923fc34183588ad.

变更

  • 将菜单栏中手写感较强的 W 替换为与 WakeGPT 主图标一致的叠放便签标识。
  • 使用更精细的超采样，让 22×18 macOS 模板图标在菜单栏尺寸下保持更稳定的边缘。
  • 将本地 ChatGPT/Codex 端点探测的有界等待时间从 800 毫秒调整为 2 秒，避免冷启动回环连接被误判为失效端点。
  • 让发布清单、许可证和更新测试跟随当前包版本，不再写死历史版本号。
  • 在发布构建中规范化 Rust 源码路径，并拒绝任何包含本机 macOS 用户主目录路径的 Universal App。

下载与首次打开

WakeGPT_0.1.1_universal.dmg 同时包含 Apple Silicon（arm64）和 Intel（x86_64）代码。请只从本 GitHub Release 下载，并使用 SHA256SUMS.txt 核对摘要。

  • 本次不包含 Windows x64，也尚未在真实 Windows 硬件上验证。
  • 此版本未启用自动更新；请通过安装更新且校验通过的 DMG 升级。
