WeClaw Dev v0.1.9-alpha

Choose a tag to compare

@Awenforever Awenforever released this 17 May 16:15

Highlights:

  • Integrate WeClaw /status with CoDeepSeedeX/dsproxy as the source of truth for profile, model, effort, context, tokens, cost, pricing, balance, Compact, Trim, proxy state and paths.
  • Route /effort high|max through the authoritative dsproxy profile contract instead of editing Codex profile files from WeClaw.
  • Redesign /status as a compact WeChat card showing profile, model, effort, session, context, tokens, Details, Cost, Balance, Pricing, Policy, Compact, Trim, Proxy and Paths.
  • Add token-first context display with the managed DeepSeek 1M context window and the finalized 900k auto-compact trigger when provided by dsproxy.
  • Add provider-authoritative cache-aware token display for last turn, current session and auxiliary calls using hit~<ratio>||<tokens>.
  • Add Details origin breakdown for user, history, system, environment, tools and overhead, including resume/current-session restoration from dsproxy tokenizer reports.
  • Add RMB/CNY-first Cost, Pricing and Balance display using ¥, with latest-turn cost shown before session, auxiliary and total cost.
  • Preserve the original /status progress-bar layout while switching Compact and Trim to token-first dsproxy fields when available.
  • Keep Compact progress as retention semantics: post-compaction tokens over raw/uncompacted tokens.
  • Fix /new and pre-prompt /status behavior so stale previous-session Tokens, Details, Compact and Trim data are not shown before the first real prompt.
  • Restore the post-prompt Trim row when Compact renders from token-first dsproxy fields but Trim is unavailable.
  • Harden route-safe /status fallback so route metadata can be shown without leaking old session-scoped Context, Details, Cost, Compact or Trim values.
  • Restore README and README_CN as user-facing entry documents with language links, upstream fork attribution and maintainer documentation links.
  • Keep WeClaw display-only for CoDeepSeedeX telemetry: no local price lookup, cost recomputation, retokenization, profile parsing or debug-file scraping.

Validation:

  • git diff --check passed.
  • bash -n install.sh passed.
  • go test ./cmd ./messaging -count=1 passed.
  • go test ./... -count=1 passed.
  • Five-platform release assets were rebuilt and uploaded.
  • GitHub latest-release and asset verification passed.
  • Runtime /status Trim display was verified before release refresh.

Install:

Fresh install uses the latest GitHub Release assets.

Existing users can run:

weclaw upgrade

Pinned install for this release:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Awenforever/weclaw_dev/v0.1.9-alpha/install.sh | sh -s -- --version v0.1.9-alpha

Alpha-channel users can run weclaw upgrade --alpha only when explicitly testing alpha-channel behavior.

Notes:

  • The public version for this release is v0.1.9-alpha.
  • The public release commit is e96b28e.
  • The internal development marker for the released asset is p0.1.6a4-status-trim-restore.
  • CoDeepSeedeX integration requires CoDeepSeedeX v0.3.9-alpha with the finalized token-first /status contract.
  • WeClaw intentionally remains a display and messaging layer. dsproxy owns profile state, context thresholds, token accounting, cost, pricing, balance, Compact and Trim semantics.

WeClaw Dev v0.1.8-alpha

@Awenforever Awenforever released this 15 May 03:17

Highlights:

  • Improve WeChat ClawBot Markdown rendering with Markdown-first output preservation.
  • Redesign slash-command replies in English with compact mobile-oriented layouts.
  • Polish /status, /now, /balance, /info, /model, /effort, /profile, /cancel, /restart and unknown-command replies.
  • Add dynamic Markdown fence safety so generated outer fences are longer than nested backtick runs.
  • Preserve legal nested fenced blocks during Markdown balancing and reply chunking.
  • Add opt-in outbound Markdown capture for renderer diagnostics through WECLAW_CAPTURE_OUTBOUND_MARKDOWN_DIR.
  • Refresh README screenshots and rename the profile/balance screenshot label to Runtime settings.

Validation:

  • git diff --check passed.
  • bash -n install.sh passed.
  • go test ./... -count=1 passed.
  • Local p0.1.5a50 deployment with outbound capture was verified before release.

Install:

  • Fresh install uses the latest GitHub Release assets.
  • Existing users can run weclaw upgrade.
  • Alpha-channel users can run weclaw upgrade --alpha when explicitly testing alpha releases.

Notes:

  • The public version for this release is v0.1.8-alpha.
  • The internal development marker is p0.1.5a50-outbound-markdown-capture.
  • The release intentionally does not add heuristic repair for malformed Markdown generated by an upstream agent. WeClaw preserves and verifies what it sends.

WeClaw Dev v0.1.7-alpha

Choose a tag to compare

@Awenforever Awenforever released this 14 May 07:05

Highlights:

  • Enable default background logging to ~/.weclaw/weclaw.log.
  • Add automatic log trimming around the default ~20 MB limit while preserving newer complete log lines in chronological order.
  • Allow weclaw start <profile> resume to omit the session ID and use the most recent ACP/Codex session for that profile.
  • Preserve explicit resume <session-id> behavior.
  • Make weclaw start ... idempotent when a managed WeClaw process is already running.
  • Report already-running status instead of stopping or replacing the current process.
  • Fix Codex ACP resume by calling stable app-server thread/resume before turn/start.
  • Remove experimental excludeTurns from the default thread/resume request, avoiding the experimentalApi capability requirement.
  • Keep the user-visible ACP session/thread ID stable after successful resume.
  • Improve /now and /status consistency by resolving the default profile/session through a shared path.
  • Avoid unknown context-window used/left values in /status where configured context-window data is available.
  • Label Codex turn IDs as last turn id to avoid confusing per-turn IDs with ACP session/thread IDs.
  • Improve weclaw upgrade --alpha for rebuilt pre-release tags by comparing release commit metadata, not only the public version string.
  • Preserve running managed sessions during upgrade when possible: download and install first, then stop the old process and restart the new version with the previous profile and ACP session.
  • Increase upgrade download timeout and retry budget for slower VM network paths.
  • Document upgrade runtime migration in README and README_CN.
  • Make weclaw stop explicit and verifiable: it reports stopped PIDs or not-running state, clears stale PID state, and verifies that no managed WeClaw process remains.
  • Keep weclaw stop aligned with weclaw start and weclaw status by using the same managed-process runtime inspection path.

Validation:

  • Focused resume, runtime-state, start/profile, status/now, upgrade, and messaging tests passed across the p5a20-p5a25 line.
  • p5a28 stop-semantics tests passed, including focused command tests, go test ./cmd, and full go test ./....
  • git diff --check and bash -n install.sh passed before release asset rebuild.
  • Five release assets were built and uploaded: Linux amd64, Linux arm64, macOS amd64, macOS arm64, and Windows amd64.
  • Linux amd64 release asset was smoke-tested for public/internal version metadata: v0.1.7-alpha | 31fa432 and v0.1p5a28-stop-semantics | 31fa432.
  • VM validation confirmed weclaw upgrade --alpha can detect a rebuilt same public tag, install the new asset, stop the old managed process, and restart with the prior deepseek-thinking profile and ACP session.
  • VM WeChat validation confirmed natural-language resume no longer fails with thread/resume.excludeTurns requires experimentalApi capability.
  • VM stop-semantics validation confirmed an intentionally leftover old v0.1.6-alpha managed process is detected after installing the new v0.1.7-alpha asset, and the new weclaw stop prints weclaw stopped, Stopped PIDs: ..., and Verified: no managed weclaw process remains.
  • VM validation also confirmed a second weclaw stop prints weclaw was not running and still verifies that no managed process remains.

Notes:

  • This Release currently points to commit 31fa432.
  • turn/last turn id is not the same as the ACP session/thread ID. A turn ID is per user request. The session/thread ID is the persistent Codex ACP conversation container.
  • Token attribution by user message, history, tool schemas, environment context, and system/runtime prompt is not yet implemented in WeClaw. It requires dsproxy to expose a request-payload attribution interface.
