MlinuxOS is a miniature operating system that was created by me to be used in the Stardance WebOS 1 project.
I decided to give it a desktop appearance while adding my own elements into it.
MlinuxOS has:
- Draggable desktop icons
- Draggable windows
- Resizable windows
- Minimize, maximize and close buttons
- Start menu
- Taskbar
- Clock
- Lock screen
- Notepad
- File manager
- Recycle Bin
- Settings
- Browser
- Terminal
The terminal also has a few simple commands like help, about, date, whoami, ls, pwd and neofetch.
Here are some additional features that I have incorporated into my project besides the essential ones specified in the guide:
- Terminal with command history support
- Browser
- Wallpaper filtering
- Grid-aligned desktop icons
- Pixel cat on the taskbar
