v1.2.0
- Update check. The desktop app looks for a newer release at startup and daily, and offers the file for your computer: Download, Later or Skip This Version. Check for Updates… and Automatically Check for Updates are in the app menu (Help on Windows and Linux). It never installs anything itself.
- FixFlow is now Code Akos. The app, its windows and the docs use the new name, the command is
code-akos, and the repository isAyesh96/code-akos. - Existing installs carry over. On first launch, the data folder moves from
~/.fixflowto~/.code-akos(unlessORCH_DATA_DIRpoints elsewhere), and the desktop app copies its settings from the oldFixFlowuser-data folder. Projects, tokens and error history are kept. - What the resolver leaves in your repository now says Code Akos: branches are
code-akos/issue-<n>, commits are byCode Akos <code-akos@localhost>. Pull requests already opened keep their old branch. - New DSNs use
codeakosas the key (http://codeakos@localhost:3000/1). DSNs that still sayfixflowkeep working, since no key is checked unless you set one. - Release files are named
code-akos-<version>-<os>-<arch>. On Windows the installer has a new app ID, so uninstall FixFlow separately. - New icon and colors. The app icon replaces the layers mark in the app, its windows, the desktop build and the docs, and the palette follows it: its navy for the background, its blue for the pipeline bars and links.
- Docs. The site is rewritten, with new pages on installation, getting started, using the dashboard and an FAQ.

The builds are not signed yet, so macOS and Windows ask you to confirm the first time you open the app. The installation guide shows how.
Upgrading from FixFlow 1.1.1 or older: the app has a new name, so it installs next to the old one instead of replacing it. Install Code Akos, open it once (your settings, projects and error history carry over), then delete the old FixFlow app. On Windows, uninstall FixFlow from Settings › Apps. This is the first version with the update check, so later releases will be offered to you in the app.
