AyCode 7.1.2

Desktop 7.1.2 · Android 7.1.2 (71002)

iPhone and Apple Watch follow as 7.1.2 (64) via TestFlight.

Moving in now also brings over sessions from Claude Code and Codex in the terminal and, if you like, new chats on its own. Codex works with local models from Ollama and LM Studio, group chats take images and reactions, and iPhone and Apple Watch get quiet hours, custom quick replies, Siri to wake the Mac and a read-only mode.

New

  • Take over Claude Code and Codex sessions. Settings › Move in has the groups "Claude Code in the terminal" and "Codex in the terminal". They list the working folders with their sessions; "Take over chats" copies each session with its full history into the AyCode project of its folder. If you keep writing, you write in a branch; the session in the terminal stays untouched. The move-in assistant also offers both with one click in the "Take over" step.
  • Catch up on new chats automatically. T3 Code has the switch "Catch up on new chats", Claude Code and Codex have "Catch up on new sessions" (each off until you turn it on). AyCode then checks every 15 minutes and takes over new chats from folders that have already moved in. A notification says how many there were.
  • Local models in Codex. If Ollama or LM Studio is running, their models appear in Codex under "Local · Ollama" and "Local · LM Studio". A chat with them runs entirely on your computer and needs no sign-in. A chat can switch between a local and a cloud model and keeps its history.
  • Remember diff comments in the Brain. With the "Remember in Brain" checkbox, a comment on a diff line also lands in Reviews/<Project>.md in the vault, with time, file, line, code and chat.
  • Reactions in Ayling chats and groups. Bubbles in Ayling chats and groups get the same five reactions as the team chat. An Ayling that stays quiet in a group can now react to your message with an emoji instead of just reading along.
  • Images in group chats. Images go into the group with or without text. The answering Ayling sees them if its provider can handle images; otherwise only the text goes out and a notice says so.
  • What a phone changed last. Settings › Phone shows the last three changes per paired phone, such as "Approval answered" or "Message sent". Only type, time and chat are stored, and only while AyCode is running.
  • Clean up old sign-ins. Under Settings › Cloud › Devices, "Clean up old sign-ins" removes all devices that have not been around for more than 30 days, after a confirmation. This Mac and currently connected devices stay.
  • iPhone: quiet hours. Under Settings → Notifications, quiet hours (default 22:00 to 07:00) keep notifications silent overnight. They still arrive in Notification Center.
  • iPhone: "Hey Siri, wake my Mac with AyCode" and a "New chat" button for Control Center and the Lock Screen.
  • iPhone: read-only phones only read. An iPhone marked "Read only" on the Mac hides input, approvals and Mac settings and explains why. On the Watch, reply buttons and "New chat" disappear.
  • Watch: custom quick replies. Under Settings → Apple Watch on the iPhone you set up to four short replies of your own.
  • iPhone: haptics and "Return sends". A light tap when sending, a success tap when an answer is done and a warning for a question. Both can be set under Privacy & Behavior → In the chat.

Improved

  • iPhone starts with your chats. After a cold start the iPhone immediately shows the last known chat list until the Mac answers.
  • iPhone: day separators in the chat. "Today", "Yesterday" or the date mark where a new day begins.
  • Finished chats glow green briefly. In the sidebar, the dot of a finished chat turns green for a few seconds.
  • Stop button with an arc. While an answer is running, an arc in the provider's colour circles the stop button. A sent message grows out of the corner of its bubble.

Fixed

  • The move-in scan no longer hangs on a slow folder. Each app has 8 seconds to count. After that it shows "more than …" and the other apps still appear.
  • Claude history comes completely or not at all. If one of its Claude sessions could not be read while taking over an imported chat, the rest was taken over anyway and the chat was permanently considered complete. Now nothing is taken over and it is loaded again on the next open.
  • Aylinge no longer get lost. If something outside AyCode changed agents.json, such as an Ayling creating a new agent through the shell, AyCode overwrote it on the next save. Now AyCode takes over outside changes and only adds its own change.
  • iPhone: the Face ID lock no longer crashes. The reason text for Face ID is now also in the checked-in Info.plist.

Desktop 7.1.2 · Android 7.1.2 (71002)

  • Lokale Modelle in Codex.
  • Bilder in Gruppenchats.
