Senior Product Designer with 7 years of experience | Figma to SwiftUI, no handoff
Now building Falda, a solo design and development studio working end-to-end with early-stage founders in AI, fintech, security and health.
π¨ Built the GC Design System from zero at Marsh McLennan. Five application teams run on it
π± Ship native iOS and macOS apps, designed in Figma and built in SwiftUI
π Open to fully remote roles where design works close to engineering
β½ Off the clock: filmmaking, photography and football
Everything here is designed and built end to end by me, from interface to architecture to shipping. I design it in Figma, then build it with SwiftUI, Next.js and Expo. These repos are private for now, but I'm happy to walk through any of them.
π©Ί Anchor - a health dashboard for setting goals, reading steps, tracking workouts, nutrition and sleep, all synced with Apple Health.
πͺ Ladder - voice-first tasks, lists and habits. Talk to it and it files what you said.
β¨οΈ Langkey - a language keyboard that translates what you type, inside any app, without leaving it.
πΌ Pixel Preview - a native image viewer: filmstrip, split view, full EXIF, and 18 formats including camera RAW.
π£ Shadow Box - a shadowing tool for language speaking practice. Listen, repeat, and drill till it lands.
π Exhibit - a suite of tools in one SwiftUI app: a timer, a YouTube playlist tracker, a weather-based walk planner, a reading log, a CRS draw dashboard and a face-identifying photo culler. iPhone, iPad, Mac and Vision Pro from a single codebase.
π azelamaechi.com - my portfolio. Next.js App Router, Tailwind v4, and every case study is an MDX file edited through Keystatic.
π’ Falda - the studio's own site, currently running in Framer.
Design
Build
Design sits in the intersection. Business needs, user needs, technical constraints. Design's job is to find the point where all three hold at once, so the business makes money, people get something they actually want to use, and the team can genuinely build it. Everybody wins at the end of the day.
I build what I need. Most of these projects started as a problem in my own life or my workflow. I design the fixes, then I build them.
Dark mode is not optional. Every app, every site, every time. Easier on the eyes and a better user experience.

π² Random facts
π’ I'm a petroleum engineering graduate. That's what I did before finding my way into the world of product design.
π¬ Filmmaking and photography are the other half of my creative life. Design and tech is the digital side. This one is visual: video, sound, story, emotion. Same instinct, different output.
