Using the bot
Not really, the people that know the commands will take care of that for you. All you really need to know is that if you're going to a raid you should press the thumbs up button, and if you are bringing people with you you should press the + Person button once for every person you have with you. Everything else is optional :)
Raid announcements currently have six buttons below them.
- Thumbs up - Please press this if you are going to the raid. You can press it again to remove yourself if you change your mind.
-
- Person - If you have people with you who aren't already marked as going, press this once for every person you have with you.
-
- Person - The opposite of + Person.
-
- 5m - Add 5 minutes to the start time, please discuss with the group before pressing this.
-
- 5m - Subtract 5 minutes from the start time, please discuss with the group before pressing this.
- Premiere ball - Press this once you have finished the raid, this will mark the raid as done and hide it from #active-raids
Sadly we can't do anything about it as its Discord that controls that. Please ignore the color of the buttons, and the numbers next to them. Maybe one day Discord will fix it.
To create a raid you can use the !raid command. You'll need to know the raid start time, the pokemon and the name of the gym. If a start time hasn't already been discussed, use the eggs hatch time, the start time can always be modified later. You don't need to be exact with the gym name or pokemon, if you get it wrong the bot will make its best guess as to what you meant. For example, if a Rayquaza was hatching at 17:50 at Margate Centre Statue, you could type !raid 17:50 Rayquaza Margate centre.
To create a raid on an egg use the !egg command. For example, if a level 4 egg was hatching at 17:50 at Dreamland, you could type !egg 17:50 4 Dreamland Once the egg has hatched, please use the !raidpokemon command to set the raids pokemon. Note that the raid ID is at the bottom of the raid announcement. For example: !raidpokemon 36 Articuno
Look for the raid ID, it's right at the bottom of the raid announcement. Once you've got it, you can use the !raidgym command to fix it. For example: !raidgym 67 Margate Centre Statue. If the bot keeps on getting the gym wrong, even though you are typing it right, it means that the gym is missing from my list of gyms. Please message me (@Azelphur) letting me know the name of the gym, and its location. I'll get it sorted.
Look for the raid ID, it's right at the bottom of the raid announcement. Once you've got it, you can use the !raidpokemon command to fix it. For example: !raidpokemon 92 Rayquaza
It's actually the same as creating a normal raid, with the difference that you specify the full date and time, in quotes, as the start time. For example !raid "2018-03-28 14:45" Mewtwo Westbrook Shelter
You can modify a raids start time with the !raidstart command
You can mark someone else as going with the !raidgoing command
Check out the !raidstats command
Yep! use the !raidin command - it'll mention everyone who is going, telling them to go in.
The bot will remove all record of the raid. Other embeds associated with the raid will be automatically deleted, and the raid will be removed from the bots statistics. Only do this if the raid was created in error.
