A drawing-time tracker for Wacom tablets — Windows.
NibTracker detects when your pen touches or hovers the screen and measures your real drawing time per project, so you can track your active hours.
Download the latest version
→ unzip the folder, then run NibTracker.exe.
The only official source for NibTracker is this GitHub page. Do not download it from any other site or source.
- Windows 11 (Windows-only; other OS have not been tested yet)
- A Wacom tablet (any model; note that not all models have been tested)
- Wacom drivers installed (up to date preferably; not all driver versions have been tested)
- Press Track while you draw — the app counts active pen time only.
- Name and Validate a session to add it to the monthly calendar.
- Billing marks hours as accounted for (greyed out on the calendar).
- Sessions shows the total time per project name.
- It autosaves — close it anytime, your data is restored when you reopen it.
Note: NibTracker is not an accounting tool.
Your session history is stored next to the app, in plain-text files
(wacom_state.json, wacom_compiled.jsonl, wacom_minilogs_archive.jsonl).
Nothing is sent anywhere — everything stays on your computer.
