Version 1.0.7

This release introduces rich model previews with video support and automatic local preview generation, allows extracting ComfyUI workflows directly from CivitAI model previews, and brings cross-platform folder navigation across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

What’s New

  • Video Preview Support: You can now view animated video previews (.mp4, .webm) alongside preview images in model search tooltips, download lists, and model info dialogs.
  • Automatic Model Preview Generation: Preview images and videos are now automatically downloaded and saved alongside model files into your local model directories.
  • CivitAI Workflow Extraction: You can now copy embedded ComfyUI workflows directly to your clipboard from CivitAI model preview images in the model info window.
  • Subfolder Suggestions: You can now use the new "Suggest Subfolder" context menu option on CivitAI and CivArchive search results to automatically select appropriate destination folders for downloads.

Improvements

  • Cross-Platform Folder Navigation: The "Open containing folder" action now opens your file manager natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Metadata Sidecars: Full CivitAI metadata, including descriptions, tags, and base model details, is now automatically saved into sidecar files compatible with LoRA Manager during download.
  • Clearer Category Display Labels: Download location options now display exact ComfyUI folder category names to help you choose the right directory.
  • Faster CivArchive Size Probes: Model search and file size detection for CivArchive models now prioritize fast mirrors for more reliable results.

Fixed Issues

  • Windows Folder Opening Error: Fixed an issue on Windows where opening a model's containing folder in File Explorer could report a false error even when the folder opened successfully.
  • Tooltip Interface Overlaps: Fixed an issue where model info tooltips stayed visible on screen when opening context menus.
  • Path Backslash Normalization: Fixed path formatting errors on Windows when joining target subfolder paths.
