Build error: The "RemoveRunTimeDependencies" task failed unexpectedly

I would like to report the same thing.
It is occurring from the microsoft.azure.webjobs.script.extensionsmetadatagenerator when running a build of a solution that has several independent projects. If --output is specified, the tool works on the same location in parallel and (para-random) conflicts are happening.

How to reproduce:

dotnet build MetadataGeneration.sln --output ./tmp/output --configuration Release --no-restore

Workaround:

• disable parallel build with switch -m
  dotnet build MetadataGeneration.sln --output ./tmp/output --configuration Release --no-restore -m:1
• or disable folder cleanup on top projects:

<PropertyGroup>
   <_FunctionsSkipCleanOutput>true</_FunctionsSkipCleanOutput>
</PropertyGroup>

I applied the two workaround above :

• disable parallel build with switch -m
• disable folder cleanup on top projects

But I still have the issue, can't build my solution, any thoughts ?
