First public release by Syntaxucre for WoW Forever 1.60.1 (Interface 16001).
- Add faction icons, faction name colors, or both to Blizzard player nameplates.
- Independently enable Alliance and Horde icons.
- Choose left, right, above or below the name, with horizontal and vertical offsets.
- Adjust icon size from 10 to 64; settings apply immediately and are shared across characters.
- Open the scrollable options panel with
/platefaction. - Automatically select English, French, German, European or Latin American Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese. Missing translations fall back to English.
- Preserve Blizzard health bar colors and skip NPCs, pets, the personal nameplate and restricted data.
Existing saved settings are preserved.
Validation covers Lua syntax and simulated WoW APIs. Multilingual rendering and combat restrictions still require in-game verification. Translations have not all been reviewed by native speakers.
