CHANGELOG.md in Keep a Changelog format, backfilled from all prior versions
Issue templates — bug report and feature request YAML forms
Pull request template and FUNDING.yml
.editorconfig for consistent formatting
LICENSE now includes author name
package.json bump to 1.4.0 with keywords and fuller description
