Wing Mait Beta 0.95 hotfix 2 (0.9.5-beta.3)
Wing Mait Beta 0.95 hotfix 2 (0.9.5-beta.3)
Fixed
- Revive lines while alive: when the mortar sight or the big map covered the minimap, Wing Mait could think you were down and say a revive line. It no longer does.
- Double contact calls: the same contact is no longer called twice as it moves from one compass direction to the next.
- Quiet on the big map: combat callouts are muted while the big map is open. Fire solutions still speak.
- Sgt Bravo 4: now speaks the full fire solution; his three missing radio lines are included.
Installing or updating
Run the installer over your existing install; your settings and licence carry over. This beta is unsigned, so if Windows SmartScreen appears, choose More info, then Run anyway.

Wing Mait Beta 0.95 hotfix (0.9.5-beta.2)
Wing Mait Beta 0.95 hotfix (0.9.5-beta.2)
Fixed
- Preview loop: moving the radio sliders or clicking presets could queue test lines that kept playing. Only one preview plays at a time now, and each new one interrupts the last. Real callouts are never cut off by a preview.
- Voice switch: picking a new character in the voice dropdown takes effect straight away. Before, the old voice's queued lines played out first, so it looked like you had to press CLEAR.
- CLEAR: now sits apart from the radio presets, with a tooltip. It resets the radio effect to clean (0/0).
Everything from Beta 0.95 (radio sliders, even voice levels, settings explainers, spoken fire solution, Stats) is included.

Wing Mait 0.9.5-beta.10.7.9
Wing Mait 0.9.5-beta.10.7.9
Mortar targeting
- Recognises the highlighted mortar when its tooltip appears below and beside the marker.
- Reads displayed Ping coordinates and freshly selected Mark Coordinates drafts, including TEAM drafts.
- Supports successive left and right target selections without reopening the map.
- Keeps a confirmed mortar position during the current game session and reuses it after fresh identification on remount.
- Uses brief confirmations: "Ready to set mortar?", "Confirmed. Set target.", "Target confirmed." and "New target confirmed."
- Cancels the previous target's queued or playing solution when a new target is accepted.
Voices, calibration and recognition
- Includes the four short mortar prompts for all 17 characters, with 26 required calibration and mortar clips checked per character.
- Clarifies scale and zoom readouts, distinguishes minimap from full-map calibration, and fits device labels inside their controls.
- Clears calibration and transient recognition state on disarm and game/session capture resets.
- Removes desaturation-only death detection that caused false "you're up" callouts during normal movement.
- Speeds up the shared icon matcher and keeps recognition running during spoken instructions.
Beta validation
Recorded-frame replays and 114 native mortar checks pass. Source, packaged and installed readers passed repeated-target and coordinate-draft regressions. Live gameplay acceptance and listening review of the new short recordings remain pending. Reader timings exclude capture, polling and playback; no universal end-to-end latency guarantee is made.
Windows x64 installer: approximately 1.00 GB (999,558,834 bytes).

Wing Mait 0.9.5-beta.10.7.10: licence recovery
Wing Mait release notes
0.9.5-beta.10.7.10 (2026-09-30)
Licence recovery
- Settings retries a failed licence read and refreshes its licence status when the window regains focus.
- Shows Checking while licence information is loading and waits for a successful read before enabling activation.
- Re-entering a key that is already valid on this machine reuses the saved activation instead of requesting another slot.
- Retains the last known licence display through temporary read failures.
This update retains the gameplay, mortar and voice content from beta10.7.9.
For an existing installation, install this update over the current version. It preserves the saved licence and activation instance. No new key is required.
Verification: 13 native licence tests, automatic recovery under an injected read failure, and released-resource integrity checks.
Wing Mait Beta 0.95 (0.9.5-beta.1)
Wing Mait Beta 0.95 (0.9.5-beta.1)
New
- Radio comms sliders: Voice distortion and Static, 0 to 100 each, with presets Clear, Comms, Field and Hell, plus a live preview when you release a slider. Signal quality still wanders within each line. An anti-mud guard ducks the static under the voice so speech cuts through. Both sliders at 0 turns the effect off. Works on every voice.
- Even voice levels: every line is now normalised to the same loudness before any radio effect, so no character or line jumps out louder than another.
- Settings explainers: an "i" on every settings row explains what it does. Non-English text is machine translated for now.
- Spoken fire solution: the Wing Mait map and mortar calculator now read back grid, bearing and elevation in mils, ending "Adjust accordingly." It works for six characters; Sgt Bravo 4 follows in the next update.
- Radio chatter: an occasional "Break" or "Over" on quiet-time callouts. Never when the action is heavy.
- Stats (replaces Ledger): session and all-time views, JSON and Excel export, full screen, and OBS stat pins that turn any tile into a Browser Source overlay for your stream. Stats powered by Everywear ID.
Honest status
- The Stats screen records locally, but the on-screen stat readers are still calibrating. Until a reader passes accuracy checks, its tile shows "Calibrating" rather than a guess. Sessions you record now keep their evidence and can be re-read by a later update.
- Live in-game mortar callouts read from your map are coming soon.

Wing Mait 0.9.5-rc.8: release candidate 8
Wing Mait 0.9.5-rc.8: release candidate 8
Thank you for testing. This build is about making calibration quicker and more forgiving, so you can get on with the game.
Fixed
- Season 2 map detection. Calibration and the map features were not starting in Season 2 on rc.1. They now start as they should.
- Calibrates at any big-map zoom. No more hunting for the right zoom with the mouse wheel. Open the big map at whatever zoom you like and Wing Mait reads it.
- Minimap scale is measured directly. It works whether your minimap is synced with the big map or not. If Wing Mait cannot measure it with confidence, it tells you rather than guessing.
- Faster calibration. The scale settles in about half the time it used to.
- More accurate distances. The minimap values we used before were up to about 9 percent off in some cases. Callout distances now use the measured value.
New and experimental
- Control Zone circle on the Map window. Experimental, so please tell us what you see.
- Squad Share: Print map, briefing and the draw tools (undo and redo, pan, eraser, and who drew what).
Removed
- 3D spotting option. It did not do anything useful in WARDOGS, so the setting is gone. Your existing settings will load as normal.
Please try
- Open the big map at any zoom and close it again. The scale readout should stay put.
- Close the map with your minimap synced, then again unsynced, and watch the minimap scale reading.
- Call out a few spotted targets and see whether the distances feel right.
We would love to hear how it goes.
How Wing Mait works, plainly
- It reads text on your screen. Wing Mait uses Tesseract, an open-source OCR engine, to turn small parts of your HUD (minimap, map scale, map coordinates, a few numbers) into text. Tesseract recognises characters with a small neural network. That is all it does: it does not understand the game or decide anything.
- Fixed rules decide every callout. We wrote them by hand. There is no language model, no vision model and nothing reasoning about your game. Running one beside your game would cost you frames, so we don't.
- Voices are recorded clips. They were generated ahead of time and ship as audio files. No voice model runs on your PC.
- Your keyboard. Wing Mait never reads which key you press, and never stores or sends a keystroke. The mortar helper only notes that a key went down, so it can throw away a map click that may be out of date.
- Your mouse. The mortar helper notices left and right clicks inside the game window while your big map is open, so it can read the coordinates you just marked. It uses the standard Windows Raw Input API, read only. It never hooks, blocks or sends input to the game.
- What leaves your PC. Licence activation (Lemon Squeezy), voice pack downloads (GitHub) and, only if you create or join a Squad Share room, your drawings, briefing, callsign, map name and a device id. Screenshots, OCR text, clicks and keys never leave your PC. No telemetry.
- How we built it. We used AI coding assistants, AI-generated art and AI-generated voices, and we credit every one of them in the files that ship with the app.
Wing Mait is built on everywear.id, our local-first platform. Made by PT Metafintek AI Studios.
Wing Mait 0.9.5-rc.16
Hajin routes on the Wing Mait map
- The routes from the Wing Mait website's Hajin map are now on the MW4 DMZ map in the app (and in the Squad Share map room). A new Routes button sits in the strip above the map. It opens a list of the routes, with their length, time and how sure we are about each one (surveyed, footage-registered or area only).
- Pick a route and it is drawn on the map in Wing Mait orange with a pictogram on every step. Chang-san gets a full path; the other routes show their pins and areas.
- Play, Pause, Step and Back move a GPS marker along the path, with a turn-by-turn line ("In 120 m: ..."), distance left, heading and speed steps. Distances are estimates, and the console says so.
- Click a step on the map or on the progress bar for its card: our own map crop of the spot, what to do, how sure we are, "Watch this moment" (opens the creator's video at that second in your browser) and "Read guide" (opens the matching section of the website guide in a small window beside the map, reused each time).
- Share route (in the console, needs a Squad Share room) sends the line and the step rings to your squad as ordinary orange ink. Squadmates see the picture, not the step cards. Withdraw shared route takes exactly those strokes back. Older Wing Mait builds are not affected.
- Routes work offline: the installer carries a snapshot of the routes and their step pictures. When you are online Wing Mait quietly checks wingmait.xyz for newer routes (at most once every six hours; switch it off in the Routes list, "Update routes from wingmait.xyz when online"). Anything it downloads is checked first and a bad file is ignored.
- Route markers on the map can be switched off in the same list. Your choices are remembered with the rest of the map settings.
- Routes are never called out by voice. Nothing is read from your game for this; it is a map layer only.
Under the hood
- New host module src-tauri/src/routes (cache in the app data folder, one HTTPS request to wingmait.xyz with a 1 MiB cap and a host-pinned redirect policy, the guide window, opening the video in the default browser). The guide window is not in any capability, so the page it shows has no access to the app.
Wing Mait 0.9.5-rc.12: release candidate 12
Wing Mait 0.9.5-rc.12: release candidate 12
Thank you for testing. This build adds the first Hajin map for MW4 DMZ, makes Squad Share rooms work on it, and carries the Control Zone fixes from the last two candidates. If you are on rc.8, this is the one to move to.
New and experimental
- MW4 DMZ: Hajin map (beta). The Map window now has a Hajin map with an enhanced base map and the official one, FLIR and NVG views, and a sidebar of points of interest you can switch on and off, with search and fly-to. MW4 DMZ is still in development and the DMZ voice pack is not released; this is the map side only, and it is early.
- Auto-selects when Call of Duty is running. Wing Mait picks the Hajin map when it sees Call of Duty running. Multiplayer and DMZ share the same program, so the window can open for any Call of Duty session; use the game picker in the Map window to override it. Once Hajin is selected it stays selected, including inside the DMZ tutorial, until another game is clearly detected.
- Squad Share rooms on Hajin. Draw, eraser, undo and redo, briefing and Print map all work on the Hajin map, the same way they do for WARDOGS.
Fixed
- Control Zone (WARDOGS). Once the circle has been read on a map, Wing Mait remembers which map it was and tries up to six times per map opening instead of two. This helps in the case where the circle was read correctly but a close map identity score got it rejected.
- Stats. Select all for OBS pins, with a clear option.
Please try
- Open the Map window with Call of Duty running and check that Hajin comes up. Tell us if it opens when you are in multiplayer.
- Start a Squad Share room on Hajin with a squadmate, draw something and check that they see it. Try Print map.
- In WARDOGS, open the big map at the 1KM view, hold it for about 3 seconds and see whether the Control Zone circle appears on the Map window.
We would love to hear how it goes.

- Which game is running. To pick the right map, Wing Mait checks the names of running programs and which game window is on screen. It does not read the game's memory.

Release candidate for early testers. It is stable enough to use, and some features are still pending.
What works in this build
- Live voice callouts with bearing and distance.
- Downed teammate and squad-downed callouts (squad-downed lines exist for Kaira and Bravo 4 only so far).
- Mortar firing solution.
- Artillery truck bearing and range.
- Character voice packs.
- Squad Share, early alpha.
- Fixes: call sign now saves, the drawer voice toggle stays in sync, and calibration logging is improved.
Pending / not yet in this build
- Stats tracker.
- OBS overlay.
- Squad Share relay and room creation.
- Team-chat request callouts.
- Battlefield 6 and Modern Warfare 4 DMZ packs are in development.
Known issues
- Big-map scale calibration sometimes abstains (RC1-05).

Wing Mait 0.9.5-beta.10.7.11: smaller core, free voice packs
Wing Mait release notes
0.9.5-beta.10.7.11 (2026-09-30)
Smaller core download and free voice packs
- Includes Kokoro male and female, with clear and radio variants, plus Kaira and Bravo 4.
- Other character voices are free individual downloads in Settings.
- Settings shows the voice-pack folder, opens it in Explorer and imports ZIP packs downloaded from the website.
- Downloaded voices stay on the PC for offline playback and remain separate from game capture/cache cleanup.
- Installer compression is enabled. Existing maps and recognition assets are retained.
- The website setup guide now includes the Windows SmartScreen and installation screenshots.
Optional packs contain the same English recordings as beta10.7.10. Translated speech packs will follow separately. The application licence is separate from the free voice downloads.
Licence recovery retained from beta10.7.10
- Settings retries failed licence reads and refreshes when the window regains focus.
- Activation waits for a successful initial licence read.
- Re-entering an already valid key on this machine reuses its saved activation.
- Temporary read failures retain the last known licence display.
