Goal v2.2.0

Goal now shares lifecycle controls between slash commands and Agent tools: view, edit, pause, resume, and clear. Cancellation persists before confirmation, and pending approvals do not trigger competing continuation turns.

Requires an OpenAgent Runtime implementing the current generic plugin contract and Host Bridge.

Validation: 18 package tests passed; plugin-kit manifest and component validation passed. The attached ZIP contains plugin.json at the archive root and preserves package identity. Existing plugin data remains managed by OpenAgent during an explicit update.

openagent-goal 2.0.1

Expose /goal:goal as a portable command with package-owned continuation through a Stop hook. Persist branch-scoped goal state, make wake paths idempotent, and bound host requests.

Requires an OpenAgent Runtime implementing the current generic plugin contract and Host Bridge; older Runtime-bound or package-flow implementations are not supported by this package.

Validation: package validator and repository tests passed. Functional qualification passed in an isolated native OpenAgent instance. The attached ZIP places plugin.json at the archive root.

Goal Mode as a self-contained Agent Plugin package.

The package now owns the whole capability: it declares the autonomous loop as a
package flow, keeps each conversation's objective, To-Do list, status, and
summary under its own PLUGIN_DATA, serves the update_goal and read_goal
tools through its own stdio MCP server, and reports the projection the status
panel renders. The Runtime supplies only the loop mechanics — turn dispatch,
cancellation, the iteration limit, and checkpoint continuation.

Requires an OpenAgent Runtime that reads extensions.openagent.flows and the
plugin flow kind. The flow is run as /goal:goal.

Asset openagent-goal-2.0.0.tar.gz is the installable package.

The package declared checkpoint message policies the Runtime already owns in its
own registration. Because the loader namespaces a package's policy tags to
plugin:<plugin-id>:<tag>, those entries could only ever apply to a message this
package's own automation prints, and this package ships no automation.

They did change the plugin card: the installed card merges the Runtime
registration with this package and concatenates both policy lists, so it counted
four policies where the Runtime applies two. This release removes the redundant
declarations and leaves the card showing what the Runtime actually applies.

The validation command in the README now points at the OpenAgent Plugin Kit,
since this repository ships no scripts of its own.
