v0.2.2 — Verified directory packages

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@BLCNYY BLCNYY released this 26 Sep 09:47

Fixes the directory packager on Windows by normalizing line endings before adding setup instructions.

Adds a smaller SkillHub package to the Codex, Claude Code and Cursor plugin release.

SkillHub limits imported bundles to 100 KB of extracted content. minecraft-skin-maker-skillhub.zip keeps every Python helper, test, reference and editable JSON template. It links the two optional sample designs at this GitHub release tag. The complete samples remain in the repository and the other ZIPs.

SkillHub accepts text support files. The package's setup instructions regenerate its eight PNG coordinate guides and masks locally using the bundled code.

Verification

  • All 28 helper tests pass from the extracted SkillHub package.
  • Codex and Claude Code manifest validation passes.
  • The core skin-generation code and full standalone skill are unchanged from v0.2.0.

Install for your agent:

npx skills add BLCNYY/minecraft-skin-maker --skill minecraft-skin-maker

Choose your agent when prompted. The plugin ZIP includes manifests for Codex, Claude Code and Cursor. Public directory review remains separate from GitHub installation.

v0.2.0 — Codex, Claude Code and Cursor plugins

Choose a tag to compare

@BLCNYY BLCNYY released this 26 Sep 09:29

Minecraft Skin Maker can now be installed as a plugin in Codex, Claude Code and Cursor, using the same image-or-text workflow and Python helpers.

Included

  • Portable Agent Plugins, Codex, Claude Code and Cursor manifests.
  • A GitHub-hosted Claude Code marketplace.
  • Complete plugin and standalone skill ZIPs, with SHA-256 checksums.
  • Privacy and usage terms, a plugin icon, and directory review materials.
  • The README's original-character example shows the reference and final result.

The skin-generation code is unchanged from v0.1.1.

Install

npx skills add BLCNYY/minecraft-skin-maker --skill minecraft-skin-maker

Choose Codex, Claude Code, Cursor or another supported host. See the README for Claude Code marketplace installation and local plugin use.

Verification

  • All 28 helper tests pass from the extracted plugin archive.
  • Portable manifest schema validation and the Codex and Claude Code validators pass.
  • Cursor CLI loads the packaged skill and can read its helpers and references.
  • Linux and Windows CI pass the helper tests, rebuild the OG example with identical pixels, and validate its Bedrock pack.
  • The complete creative workflow has been tested in Codex; full generation in other hosts and an in-game Minecraft import remain unverified.

Public directory listings require separate approval. These downloads and the GitHub-hosted marketplace are available independently of that review.

v0.1.1 — Portable agent support

Pre-release

@BLCNYY BLCNYY released this 26 Sep 09:00

Portable agent support

Minecraft Skin Maker is a portable Agent Skill. Compatible agents supply image interpretation and design decisions, while local Python helpers assemble and validate the skin.

Install

npx skills add BLCNYY/minecraft-skin-maker --skill minecraft-skin-maker

Choose your agent and installation scope. Manual installation and the Codex skill-installer shortcut are documented in the README.

Changes

  • Generalized the README and shared instructions to refer to the agent performing the work.
  • Documented file access, Python execution and image inspection requirements.
  • Added installation guidance for compatible hosts, including Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.
  • Clarified that agents/openai.yaml is optional Codex interface metadata.
  • Added Windows interpreter guidance.

Installation was checked in isolated projects for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. The complete creative workflow has been tested in Codex; full generation in other hosts remains untested. Skin generation code and the OG example are unchanged.
