Compiling and Distribution

To build the Server Forge app into an exe file, you need pyinstaller. To install pyinstaller, run the following command in a terminal.

pip install pyinstaller

Once pyinstaller is installed, you can use the premade scripts in sf.bat.

To build the app in development/debug mode which provides more specific error messages and debug info, run the following command in a terminal from the root of this project, or by specifying the path to the batch file:

sf devbuild

To build the app for distribution without debug info, use this command:

sf build
