ViewKit 1.0.0 Release Notes
We are excited to announce the first release of ViewKit, version 1.0.0! ViewKit is a SwiftUI-based toolkit that brings a collection of essential extensions, modifiers, and reusable components to speed up your UI development. Here鈥檚 what鈥檚 new in this release.

Extensions
- As UIColor: Converts a SwiftUI
Colorto aUIColor. - Hexadecimal Color: Initializes a
Colorfrom a hexadecimalString. - Base64 Image: Initializes an
Imagefrom a Base64-encodedString.
Components
- Web View: A SwiftUI view that wraps a
WKWebViewfor displaying web content. - Highlighted Text: A view that displays text with alternating colors, allowing specific segments of the text to be highlighted.
- Cached Async Image: Creates a view that loads and caches an image asynchronously from a given URL, with the option to specify its content mode.
- Carousel: A
SwiftUIview that presents a horizontally auto scrollable collection of items with optional indicators to show the current selection. - Input Field: A customizable text field that supports validation, secure input, and optional placeholders.
Modifiers
- Capsule Border: Adds a capsule-shaped border around a view with a specified style and line width.
- Circle Border: Adds a circle-shaped border around a view with a specified style and line width.
- Rounded Border: Adds a rounded border around a view with a specified radius, style and line width.
- Rounded Corners: Rounds specified corners of a view with a given radius.
- Bottom Popup: Displays a bottom popup view that can be presented and dismissed based on a binding state.
- Date Picker: Presents a date picker in a bottom popup, allowing users to select a date.
- Picker: Presents a picker view in a bottom popup, allowing users to select an item from a collection.
- Image Picker: Presents an image picker for selecting an image from the photo library.
- WebSheet: Presents a sheet containing a web view that displays the specified URL.
