The first release after Hack-Nation 7. What was submitted there is still the tag hack-nation-7.
Get it

cd mason/apprentice
npm run build:reader
open Mason.appmacOS 13 or later, Node 18 or later, Xcode command line tools. Already have it? git pull and npm run build:reader; macOS then asks for Accessibility again, with Fix access in the panel.
New since the hackathon
- Workflow. Thirty days of your agents' logs as one card: who you talk to, how often, how long an agent works on one thing, how many projects a day, the tokens a day takes, and what you tell your agents again and again. Shared as a picture and a file with no project, no file name and nothing you said in it.
- Other people's workflows. Open a file and theirs stands beside yours. There is a collection to take from and add to.
- Rules by hand-over. Mason writes no rule anywhere. A rule, your own or someone else's, goes to the agent you choose as a prompt that is ready and not sent: Claude Code, Codex or Cursor opens with it, you read it and press Enter, and the agent shows the change before it saves.
- Codex and Grok beside Claude Code, in the same projects, and the tokens the agents took, by day and by project.
- Flow, Days, Built, Find, Replay, the look back and the nudges: how the day moved between tools, the long view, questions about your own work, what you said by its meaning, a piece of real work to share.
- Any model can write the summaries, what Mason's own calls take is counted beside the switch, and a login that ran out is said instead of failing silently.
- New versions. Mason looks once a day for a newer release and says so in Settings and on the island. It installs nothing.
Safety
An independent security review read the code before it was published, and what it found is fixed: the local server answers only Mason's own windows, with a key made anew at each start; a stranger's workflow file is read with care and its rules are checked as plain habits of work; more shapes of secret are masked. What Mason guards against, and what it does not, is in SECURITY.md.
