Install
Package managers (when configured):
- Homebrew:
brew tap BansonVuong/homebrew-tap && brew install cptui - Scoop (Windows):
scoop bucket add bansonvuong https://github.com/BansonVuong/scoop-bucket && scoop install cptui
Run
Run from a directory that contains ./problems, or specify --problems-dir.
On the first ever run, CPTUI launches a setup flow that:
- checks for a compatible C++ compiler with
bits/stdc++.hsupport - prints install guidance if no compatible compiler is found
- offers to download and extract the sample
problemsarchive automatically
You can trigger the setup again manually:
./cptui --initUse a custom problems directory:
cptui --problems-dir /path/to/problemsA C++ compiler is required to run this program.
Use a GCC/g++ toolchain (needed for bits/stdc++.h):
- macOS (Homebrew GCC): https://formulae.brew.sh/formula/gcc
- Linux (GCC install docs): https://gcc.gnu.org/install/
- Windows (MSYS2 + MinGW-w64 GCC): https://www.msys2.org/
Demo
The only file that is guaranteed to work without <bits/stdc++.h> support is bf1easy. Otherwise, you may need to install a compiler with support for <bits/stdc++.h>.
Install using brew or scoop, then it will prompt you to download the sample problems folder in your current folder.
