Hi i am trying to figure out if i can ditch Garage and just use ZeroFS for geo distributed storage. I wan to bale to find info about the importance of the SlateDB cache. If i loose the cache or it gets corrupted without me having any backup, do i loose the data that ZeroFS manages? Should i also backup the cache? |

Hi, It's completely safe to discard. ZeroFS doesn't any write-back caching, writes are durable on object storage when fsync returns (with 9p and nbd, nfs is more complicated). |
