Display Control brings group and per-display brightness to Tutti on macOS 15 or later. Built-in displays and compatible Apple displays such as Studio Display use system hardware brightness, DDC/CI displays use hardware controls, and other displays can use clearly identified Software Dimming. (Thanks to 胖虎是条大锦鲤 for the suggestion.)
Selected external displays can follow built-in display brightness changes while keeping their existing brightness offset. When automatic brightness is enabled in macOS, they can follow ambient light changes too.
Presets can now save and restore the selected displays and each display's brightness. Temporarily disconnected displays retain their saved intent and rejoin when they return.
With Tutti Remote 1.1.0, you can select displays and adjust one display or the entire display group from your iPhone.
Tutti's display brightness engine builds on the open-source Crisp project. Thanks to didriksg and its contributors for sharing their work.

Keyboard volume and brightness keys now adjust the Outputs and Displays selected in Tutti, with the same Tutti progress HUD for both single- and multi-device groups. Brightness can also be adjusted with custom shortcuts and scrolling.
The shared Adjustment Step and scroll preference now apply to both audio volume and display brightness. Group volume and group brightness use the same true group control, reaching the requested average even when one member reaches a limit first.
The Current Preset highlight now means the complete saved scene still matches. It clears when a saved volume, brightness, delay, balance, channel role, selection, or App volume meaningfully changes.

On macOS 14.4 or later, Stereo Mode keeps assigned left and right speakers on their respective channels while every additional selected output plays full stereo instead of going silent. Reassigning a role returns the previous output to full stereo, and stereo devices play correctly through both sides. (Thanks to Season.雪凇 for the report.)
Turning Display Control off and on again now rediscovers connected displays from their current state and restores brightness adjustment. Discovery also recovers after sleep, wake, and display reconnection.

Keeping separate left/right speakers while additional outputs play full stereo requires macOS 14.4 or later and System Audio Recording access. Without either, Tutti safely falls back to full stereo on every selected output.
