Boot logo can't be customized on Legion 5 15IAH7H with latest BIOS update (j2cn61ww)

What is wrong?

Boot logo reverted and can't be customized since a new BIOS update (j2cn61ww)
It used to work perfectly up until today. The bootup screen displayed Legion's default logo no matter what I tried.

What did you try already?

• Using a different image format (was using png, tried with jpg too).
  PNG
  JPG

• Using the latest BETA c276c93 version.

• Using https://github.com/chnzzh/lenovo-logo-changer
  When boot logo is "customized" via LenovoLegionToolkit:

  (Using Pick Image from the UI doesn't seem to do anything either)

• Restarted the laptop multiple times and saw no change to the boot logo

• Manually look into EFI Partition and verified the file is correctly placed at Lenovo/Logo/mylogo_2560x1440.png

• Search online for the related issues, saw none complain about it

How to reproduce the bug?

1. Click the Setting icon on LenovoLegionToolkit
2. Scroll down to Boot Logo
3. Click Customize and pick a PNG edited with Photoshop 2024 to match 2560x1440
4. Restart the laptop and still see default Legion logo

What is the behavior that you expected?

The boot logo changed to my own customized logo.

Additional information

I've noticed in the Log file that the Z partition is not recognized as a network mount, which results in it being used to mount the EFI partition. I'm not sure if this is the root cause of the issue, but it wasn't a problem before as I had successfully changed the boot logo before with the same partitions configuration.

Yes, it seems that DriveInfo.GetDrives functions in .NET does not recognise networks drives. I need to see how to make make this code a bit more bullet proof to also check for network drives.

Ok, so I finally had some time to look into your log file more in detail. It seems like logo is being set properly, at least from LLT's perspective. Lenovo logo changes seems to confirm that.

I looked through the code of Lenovo logo changer and I from what I can see, they use the same approach as LLT and code seems to be the same. However I don't know rust very well, so there might be some differences that I can't see.

If the logo cannot be set after BIOS update, then it is an issues with this specific BIOS version. Especially, that you say it worked with older versions - in this case, I can't do anything about it.
