Boot logo reverted and can't be customized since a new BIOS update (j2cn61ww)
It used to work perfectly up until today. The bootup screen displayed Legion's default logo no matter what I tried.
What did you try already?
Using a different image format (was using png, tried with jpg too). PNG JPG
Using https://github.com/chnzzh/lenovo-logo-changer
When boot logo is "customized" via LenovoLegionToolkit:
When boot logo is "default" via LenovoLegionToolkit:
(Using Pick Image from the UI doesn't seem to do anything either)
Restarted the laptop multiple times and saw no change to the boot logo
Manually look into EFI Partition and verified the file is correctly placed at Lenovo/Logo/mylogo_2560x1440.png
Search online for the related issues, saw none complain about it
How to reproduce the bug?
Click the Setting icon on LenovoLegionToolkit
Scroll down to Boot Logo
Click Customize and pick a PNG edited with Photoshop 2024 to match 2560x1440
Restart the laptop and still see default Legion logo
I've noticed in the Log file that the Z partition is not recognized as a network mount, which results in it being used to mount the EFI partition. I'm not sure if this is the root cause of the issue, but it wasn't a problem before as I had successfully changed the boot logo before with the same partitions configuration.
