- With the Ask Omi bar turned off, the "Screen Recording Needs Reset" prompt is delivered as a real macOS notification again instead of a card that pops the hidden bar open for a few seconds — that notice is sent only once per broken-capture episode, so a missed card left screen capture off with no further warning
