This section covers who can access SDAC, how permissions are scoped, and how data/privacy rules should be handled.
- Roles and Permissions - user, trusted, moderator, admin, server owner, bot owner, promotion rules, ban rules, lockouts, server access, and cross-server visibility.
- Data and Privacy - stored data categories, sensitive data, privacy tools, server scoping, public pages, and backups.
- Server Owners manage only their server scope unless they also have a higher global role.
- Bot Owners can access all server scopes.
- Users can have different roles on different servers.
- Admins should only see servers they are in or are explicitly allowed to manage.
- Sensitive values belong in env/config stores, not in the wiki, Git commits, screenshots, or public support messages.
Update this section when roles, bans, promotion rules, lockouts, server access, cross-server visibility, privacy tools, or data handling behavior changes.
