Description

Readmate is a document reading assistant designed for individuals with ADHD! Use this application with any pdf or raw text to transform your reading experience. Maintain visual progression throughout the reading while simultaneously being rewarded for your progress with quick and fun games!

Setup instructions

  1. Download Readmate_Beta_v.091.zip
  2. Extract the zip into a directory of your choosing
  3. Navigate to \Readmate_Beta_v.091\Readmate_Beta_v.091\exe.win-amd64-3.11\
  4. Click on main to run the application

Release Notes

  • 3 new milestone activities (card matching, timed break, and comprehension questions)
  • Configure documents button allows user to change the document they are reading
  • Fully functioning settings page with the ability to change font size and style, page size, milestone frequency, and enabled milestones
  • Text to speech functionality with new UI
  • Addition of a completion screen that allows the user to read the document again or select a new one
  • Complete reformatting of document parsing to translate headers and subheaders from document into reader
  • Revamped UI and added new graphics
