Where might I find the libadscomm-dev Debian package build requirement?

libadscomm-dev is part of of TwinCAT. This repository here is an alternative implementation with some c++ wrappers on top of the standard ADS interface. These wrappers can be used on top of libadscomm as well. In our code you find "USE_TWINCAT_ROUTER" that's used to utilize the libadscomm. But the source of libadscomm and libadscomm-dev is part of TwinCAT not this repo.

Thank you. Is it possible to obtain or create a Debian package of this alternative implementation? Do I need to comment out the libadscomm-dev build requirement?

ah,now I see. Yes, the package includes both the standalone and the version using the TwinCAT router. So you have to patch out the libadscomm-dev dependency and possibly adjust the build Makefile to NOT set https://git.beckhoff.dev/beckhoff/AdsLib/-/blame/master/Makefile?ref_type=heads#L14

I created a fork that has the changes I made to get it to build just the standalone project. This is not an attempt at a patch though.
