Releases: Belweave/t3-tode
Release list
t3-tode v0.1.5 — cross-filesystem installation fix
Fixes Pixel runtime installation when /tmp and the home directory are on separate filesystems (EXDEV). Extraction now uses a temporary directory inside the staged installation. Existing T3 installations and data are preserved.
t3-tode v0.1.4 — SSH installer setup
Fixes PATH setup for existing Bash login profiles, prints the source command for the current SSH shell, and explicitly reports interrupted installations. T3 pairing and onboarding happen inside the terminal UI. Existing backend data is preserved.
t3-tode v0.1.3 — optional official T3 installation
Install the official T3 Code CLI/backend alongside t3-tode when needed.
macOS / Linux:
curl -fsSL https://github.com/Belweave/t3-tode/releases/latest/download/install.sh | bash -s -- --with-t3Windows (WSL2 required for t3-tode):
$env:T3_TODE_INSTALL_T3 = '1'
irm https://github.com/Belweave/t3-tode/releases/latest/download/install.ps1 | iexThe option skips a working t3 CLI. Otherwise it invokes the upstream installer at https://t3.codes/install.sh or https://t3.codes/install.ps1. It installs the standalone CLI/backend; provider authentication and the graphical desktop app are separate. The standard installer remains unchanged unless you opt in.
Windows installs the native Windows CLI and enables official CLI installation inside WSL as needed, where the terminal renderer runs. Native Windows and WSL keep separate environments. Full WSL rendering remains unverified end to end.
Verified Unix official installation in isolated macOS directories; CI exercises real Windows native installation/reuse and the macOS/Linux public installer path. MIT licensed.
t3-tode v0.1.2
T3 Code's real web client and backend, rendered at pixel resolution inside a Kitty graphics terminal.
Install
macOS / Linux:
curl -fsSL https://github.com/Belweave/t3-tode/releases/latest/download/install.sh | bashWindows (existing WSL2 Linux distribution):
irm https://github.com/Belweave/t3-tode/releases/latest/download/install.ps1 | iexRun t3-tode, or SSH into a machine with it installed and run the same command. Existing T3 projects and threads load by default.
The installer reuses compatible Node and supports npm, pnpm, or Bun. It downloads a private Node LTS runtime only when needed, verifies SHA-256 checksums, and switches versions atomically after dependency installation succeeds.
Included
- Official upstream web interface and client pairing
- Existing-environment discovery and matching-CLI pairing
- Headless Linux pixel rendering, mouse/keyboard input, persistent sessions, and UI scaling
- Isolated backend option, loopback binding, owned process cleanup, profile guards, and bounded redacted logs
- Installers, automated tests, CI, release checksums, and public contribution/security docs
- MIT license
Requires Ghostty, Kitty, or cmux. Pixel has no native Windows build; the Windows installer targets WSL. Real Windows/WSL installation and remote network SSH remain unverified end to end. Intel Mac needs a compatible upstream CLI/build. See README and CHANGELOG for details.
