v1.0.2

@BenjaminBenetti BenjaminBenetti released this 10 Feb 02:43

Improvements

  • New --logging-ui flag for gophrproxyclient. When this flag is on, instead of getting the standard UI you will just see special structured log output detailing the state of the channel / clients / rules. This info is intended to be read by other applications.

v1.0.1

gopherproxy v1. Me and a colleague have been using gopherproxy for over a week now all day every day with no issues. It just works. So why not v1? v1 baby! 🚀

Features

Client reconnection feature. The gopherproxy client will now attempt to reconnect to the proxy server in the event of connection loss. This should further improve the durability of the client, which I tend to "set and forget".

v0.1.6

Choose a tag to compare

@BenjaminBenetti BenjaminBenetti released this 27 Jan 05:08

Improvements

  • Introduced a dedicated notification section in the client UI to display all error messages. This fixes the UI corruption that would occur if an error message is emitted to stderr

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where clients could become "ghosts" and remain stuck in channels after crashing.
  • Fix an occasional server panic that could occur during client crashes.

New Platforms

  • Added a Windows binary to the build script, making reals accessible to a wider range of users.

This release focuses on improving the user experience and enhancing the stability and robustness of the reals client.
