Generator Version 1.2 Beta 1
Changes
-
Added an easy to use version of Generator. This version has a graphical user interface. It is not done but it does work. Here is what it does:
- It can generate all types of passwords which do not have space characters in them
- It defaults to 20 character passwords with letters, numbers and symbols
-
Here is what is left:
- Add an easy to use password strength indicator. Right now, the app displays a text string describing the password's strength.
- Add a way to let the user change the default password length and type
- Add the Help and Advice window
- Test for accessibility
- Move strings from the XAML files to a string resource file
Known Issues
- The Create New Password window does not validate the new password's length. Make sure you put in a length from 1 to 256. The program will malfunction if an invalid length (ex, 0, -1. 257, foo, etc.) is put into the text field.
