Teams that have made progress and are 4+ could be allowed to vote to make a choice: do we go to the the next ocean one, or trade it with desert? And then ocean later.. Before they progress the team members are required to be online for 80% or whatever, and they initiate a vote and then dialog popup could require them to pick progress, majority counts.
Instead of every island following exactly the same 18 phases, selected transitions could offer two or three paths:
- Ocean or Desert
- Nether or Deep Dark
- or whatever, like .. Farming, combat, or technical route
Team members vote, the owner breaks ties, and branches can converge later. This creates replayability between islands without requiring completely separate phase packs.
Describe the solution you'd like.
remove stale grinding by introducing gameplay to increase the fun and 'omg we can do this' moments.
Describe alternatives you've considered.
Bit more technical, but worth a consideration, if you ask me.. Maybe also fun for oneblock
