v5.5.0
Released as v5.5.0 (Oct 2026): the 500-seed health and sensitivity study on its own page. A new page, study.html, shows the results of the paid 500-seed study (three health systems, three economies, with and without Compassionism) and its sensitivity analysis. No engine line changes and no figure of the v5.4 release changes; the simulation page and findings explorer show the same figures. Plain-words report for Duke: dev/reports/v5-30-s137-results.md.
- Basket poverty under today's system, single payer, and single payer with a private layer, with and without Compassionism, in Reference, Adverse and Stress, with 95% intervals, and the other measures beside it.
- Government's costs in a separate table, with the safety net's outlays labelled as not financed in the model.
- Single payer's range under the Yale preprint's central, cautious and high-cost cases, labelled as depending on a preprint that is not peer reviewed.
- The price channel: the rise in "too little wealth" with Compassionism comes through the model's price response (with prices held flat it falls).
- What the results depend on: Morris screening and the follow-up Sobol run, with the share of the spread each input explains.
- Every number on the page comes from
data/studies/s137.json, written bydev/tools/study_data.pyfromdev/runs/s137/anddev/runs/s137b/;dev/tools/check_figures.jscompares each one with the data. Each table downloads as CSV or JSON. - v5.4.1's notes are in CHANGELOG.md.
