nepseData

Nepse Data: A tool for analyzing and comparing data for companies listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) and gives json file as output.

Description: This program allows you to retrieve and compare major data for companies listed on Nepse i.e. the current stock price, EPS, and P/E Ratio. The data is collected from merolagani.com and can be exported to a CSV file for further analysis.

Getting Started: These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Prerequisites: Python 3.7 or higher Pandas library BeautifulSoup library Requests library

Installing: Clone or download the repository to your local machine Navigate to the project directory in your command line Run pip install -r requirements.txt to install the necessary libraries

Running the program: 1.In the command line, navigate to the project directory 2.Run python nepsedata.py to start the program 3.Follow the prompts to select the companies you want to analyze and the data you want to retrieve 4.The data will be displayed in the command line and can also be exported to a JSON file with the name sector_name.json
