CBAS v2.2.8 — Security Hardening, Notifications, Faster Sync
What's new
- Phone notifications: birth alert status updates now appear in your notification tray (no Firebase — works on any Android phone)
- All locally stored alert data is now encrypted on the device
- Faster sync: pending alerts upload in a single batch request
- Offline login security strengthened (per-device credentials)
- Larger touch targets and clearer text for outdoor use
- Field error reporting so support can diagnose sync problems remotely
Installing over v2.2.6 or older
Sync all pending alerts first, then uninstall the old app before installing this APK (one-time signing change). Devices on v2.2.7 update in-app automatically.
