New in this release:

  • Improvements
    • Automatic rescaling of nuclei for StarDist (to a pixel size 0.5 µm, with bilinear interpolation), with non-integer rescaling factor. Upscaling (downscale factor < 1) is now also allowed (up to 3x). To activate the automatic rescaling, simply set StarDist nuclei rescaling factor to 0.
    • Added foci overlap count and area/volume for both channels to the result, as well as in the overlap map image (thanks to Mabel Baxter Dalrymple).
    • Settings optimization: Channels Tool and B&C window are displayed in upper left corner of the screen, and a tips message is added to the optimization dialog.
  • Output changes
    • Overlay and overlap images are now saves as .zip files to save storage space (typically 10 times), at the expense of slower processing.

Additionally, the macro Merge_result_files_1.1 can be used to merge all foci results .tsv files in a folder into a single table and .tsv file.
