BitcoBoost Core - Recommended Release (v1.1.0)
Ticker: BCBO. This release is required for every node, exchanges included.
Why this release
From block 20,118 (12 September 2026) the network recalculates the difficulty at every block (LWMA-1,
90-block window). Nodes built before this release — v1.0.0 and 27.1.0 — do not implement this rule: they stop
at block 20,117 and cannot follow the chain. Verified on 25 September 2026 by syncing each binary from scratch:
v1.0.0 stops at 20,117; v1.1.0 (Linux and Windows) reaches the current tip.
