Refresh tokens
In this latest release, we've changed our underlying oauth library to one that supports refresh tokens. This gives your app the ability to stay logged in for longer, and to get new access tokens without requiring user interaction.
There are a few minor breaking changes as a result of this update:
- If you are using callback.html file, you need to update the script link
setLogger()is removed. This was part of our previous oauth library.- The user object (
getUser()) has changed - Custom scopes are now passed through as a top level option
See our Migration Guide for more details.
New Features
-
Our CDN version is now available minified
-
connect()now uses a refresh token to get a new access token, which is much quicker and more reliable -
If you are calling the sign in callback manually from the popup, you can now do so without initializing the SDK:
import { Bitski } from 'bitski';
Bitski.callback();- Invalid access tokens will be removed automatically
