Bitwire 0.2.0 separates addressed delivery, dispatch policy and endpoint ownership across all eight native bindings.

Breaking interface change

  • Wire provides send-only access through relative paths.
  • Endpoint adds one owning receive(receiver) attachment and closure.
  • Receivers observe the delivered path and complete message. Path registration, namespace matching and overlap policy belong to a composed dispatcher.
  • Return capabilities preserve send-only access and identity. The retained message profile remains nightseam.duplex/1.

Verified distribution

Go github.com/Bitspark/bitwire@v0.2.0, npm @bitspark/bitwire@0.2.0, Rust bitspark-bitwire@0.2.0, Python bitspark-bitwire==0.2.0, Java dev.bitspark:bitwire:0.2.0, and public Swift/C++/Haskell source consumers are verified. Haskell uses its Git dependency; Hackage publication remains deferred.

Remaining runtime integration

This package ships the shared contract, not a production endpoint runtime. The Go/TypeScript reference experiment checks composition and retained replies; it does not prove complete invocation cancellation or bounded retirement. Nightseam #439 owns actual runtime/generated adoption and the public profile lifecycle integration; Bitwire #20 remains open for that evidence. Publication does not freeze future interface improvements or change immutable tags.
