Closing intentionally: FORGE supports Node.js 20 and 22, so its Node type definitions must remain aligned with a supported runtime major. We will upgrade @types/node as part of an explicit runtime-matrix change. |

OK, I won't notify you again about this release, but will get in touch when a new version is available. If you'd rather skip all updates until the next major or minor version, let me know by commenting If you change your mind, just re-open this PR and I'll resolve any conflicts on it. |

## What changed - Ignore automatic semver-major updates for `@types/node` and `typescript`. - Continue allowing compatible minor and patch updates. ## Why FORGE currently supports Node.js 20 and 22 and compiles with TypeScript 5.9. Dependabot proposed `@types/node` 26, which is not aligned with the supported runtime matrix, and TypeScript 7.0.2, which fails the build on both Linux and Windows. Major runtime and compiler upgrades should therefore be explicit compatibility migrations rather than unattended maintenance updates. ## Impact Dependabot remains active for routine updates but will stop reopening the two known incompatible major upgrades. ## Validation - Reviewed Dependabot PRs #2–#4 and their complete diffs. - Confirmed PR #3 fails both CI jobs due to TypeScript 7 Node type discovery changes. - Confirmed the configuration diff passes Git whitespace validation.
