Solana signing runs on @solana/kit 8.4 — for +2.3% bundle, not +26%

@solana/kit 5.5.1 → 8.4.0, and @x402/svm's program clients are forced
onto the kit-8 line (@solana-program/token / token-2022 0.16.1,
compute-budget 0.18.1) because @x402/svm itself still pins the kit-5
ones (x402-foundation/x402#3391). This takes the upstream content-length
fix (#358, closes
#378).

The bump had been on hold because it grew dist/cli.js from 8.0 to 10.1 MB.
That was never kit 8's cost. All 24 copies of @solana/errors in the tree
were the same version: npm 10 nested a private copy under every dependent
once overrides touched the tree, kept that placement on every later
install, and crashed on a fresh resolve. Re-resolving only the Solana lock
entries with npm 11 hoists one shared copy; CI's npm 10 npm ci reproduces
it. dist/cli.js is now 8,585,853 bytes (+2.3%) with one copy of every
@solana/* package. Nothing else in the lock moves — @x402/svm stays 2.21.0.

  • Signing is byte-identical. @x402/svm's real ExactSvmScheme and
ExactSvmSchemeV1, driven with a fixed key, stubbed RPC and a fixed memo
nonce, produce the same signer and the same signed wire transaction under
kit 5 and kit 8 — v1 and v2, classic Token and Token-2022, seller memo and
    nonce memo.
  • smoke-dist now fails on any duplicated @solana/* package, not only
the three that carry signing state. The nested tree built to 10.66 MB,
under the 12 MB ceiling, so nothing caught it before.

Free lineup: nemotron-3-nano-30b is gone

blockrun delisted nvidia/nemotron-3-nano-30b on 2026-09-08 and redirects
it to nano-omni. It stayed in FREE_MODELS, so startup logged it as unserved
and skipped it on every boot, and it was still in the picker, the eco SIMPLE
chain and five aliases
(#404).

  • Removed from the free cascade and top-models.json; six live free models
    remain, in the same order.
  • nano-30b, nemotron-nano-30b, nvidia/nemotron-3-nano-30b,
nemotron-nano and nemotron-nano-9b follow the gateway's redirect to
    free/nemotron-3-nano-omni-30b-a3b-reasoning. The catalog entry stays,
marked delisted, so explicit pins still route.
  • @blockrun/router-core re-pinned to e38958b: eco SIMPLE's second rung is
nano-omni, marked supportsVision: false so image turns still skip it.

Published numbers match the catalog

  • Model counts resynced to the published artifact: 82 chat / 109 total,
    6 free (#402). The
package description and the skill frontmatter, which no marker can reach,
    follow it; hand-typed "55+" / "78" counts are replaced
    (#403).
  • Savings say 84% everywhere — the published auto-vs-Opus-5 figure (98%
    on eco). src/index.ts said 78% and openclaw.plugin.json said 92%;
brand-numbers.test.ts now asserts both. The Cost/Transparency Nexus
    image is redrawn with 84%
    (#405).
