Franklin Agent 3.32.1 — fix fresh-install startup crash (decouple the router from the LLM SDK)
A fresh npm install of 3.32.0 (and every earlier version) crashed on startup —
not from Franklin's own code, but from a broken transitive dependency:
@blockrun/llm → @blockrun/clawrouter. The router's latest publish
(@blockrun/clawrouter@0.12.220) shipped a malformed ESM bundle
(SyntaxError: Identifier '__cjs_createRequire' has already been declared), and
because the SDK imported the router at module top level, that broken bundle
crashed franklin at launch even though Franklin has its own router and never
calls the SDK's smartChat().
- Bump
@blockrun/llmto^3.5.2, which decouples the router: it is now
loaded lazily insidesmartChat()(the only method that needs it) and moved
tooptionalDependencies, so importing the SDK no longer depends on the
router's health. Franklin — which uses the SDK only for wallet/payment
helpers — never loads the router at all.
Verified: fresh install imports cleanly with the broken
@blockrun/clawrouter@0.12.220 present; local suite 554/554; tsc clean;
franklin --version starts. No functional change to Franklin itself.
