Catalog sync against the live GET /v1/models (2026-08-12, 91 models on both
chains). The July snapshot had drifted: two free-tier models died by aliasing
(one of them still routed in mode:"cheap"), and the gateway had shipped a
new Seedance SKU, a new TTS provider, and nine new chat models.

  • feat(chat) — catalog and tiers resynced. anthropic/claude-opus-5 now
    leads powerful/reasoning/coding (live-probed); qwen/qwen3.7-flash
($0.03/$0.13 — the cheapest paid model in the catalogue) and tencent/hy3
join cheap; openai/gpt-5.6-luna (cut to $0.2/$1.2) and
google/gemini-3.5-flash-lite join fast. Documented new arrivals: the
gpt-5.6-*-pro reasoning trio (terra-pro at $1/$6 is deliberately HALF the
standard Terra rate — gateway registry, not a pricing bug), gpt-5.5-pro,
    chat-latest, gemini-3.6-flash, qwen3.7-plus, xiaomi/mimo-v2.5-pro. Prices
    refreshed throughout (terra $2/$12; glm-5 RAISED to $1/$3.2 — Z.AI raised
its list, so it leaves the cheap tier; gemini-3.5-flash $1.5/$9).

  • fix(free) — dead aliases removed from the routing loop.
nvidia/deepseek-v4-flash (which also sat in cheap[]) and
nvidia/seed-oss-36b now answer as nvidia/gpt-oss-120b on BOTH chains
(probed 2026-08-12 with a realistic prompt): routing to them was a slower
spelling of free[0], billed as a model the caller did not choose. Removed.
nemotron-3-nano-omni-30b-a3b-reasoning no longer aliases on Base (0.97s,
serves itself) and is promoted into free[]; mistral-nemotron demoted
below step-3.7-flash (24.9s on sol vs the 1.7-12s healthy band).

  • feat(video) — bytedance/seedance-2.0-mini ($3.5/M tokens ≈ $0.080/sec
at 720p, 4-15s, 5s default, 480p/720p only; supports RealFace and
first/last-frame). Estimator pinned against the live 402 at all three probed
tiers — each quote sits exactly the known $0.001 fee gap under the reserve.

  • feat(speech) — bytedance/seed-audio-1.0, prompt-directed audio
(describe the voice/emotion/staging in the input text; the voice param is
ignored). Billed per estimated output second: $0.003/sec, CJK-aware
    chars→seconds (0.105s Latin / 0.225s CJK per char), 120s cap, and NO 5%
margin on top — the per-second rate is final retail. Mirrors the gateway's
estimateSpeechSeconds exactly; verified against the live 402 and pinned by
    test/speech-cost.test.ts.

  • fix(music) — minimax/music-2.5 removed from the enum. The gateway
delisted it on purpose: same price as 2.5+, but upstream rejects
is_instrumental on it (MiniMax error 2013) and this tool defaults
instrumental:true, so every default call to it would 400. Pinned old
callers are remapped to 2.5+ server-side.

  • Known and external, NOT fixed here: the sol gateway still serves
pre-2026-08-07 prices for the gpt-5.6 tiers (the cut IS in blockrun-sol's
repo — deployment lag), and its repo has not taken the DeepSeek cut or the
Z.AI glm-5 raise, so deepseek-chat/reasoner are DEARER on sol than Base (a
direction the pricing policy defines as a bug) and glm-5 sells below COGS
there. verify:prices fails its Solana direction gate on exactly this until
sol ships; every MCP reserve still covers the sol charge (we reserve the
Base figure and the chat gate is deliberately conservative), so the budget
    gate is safe meanwhile.
