Resource side drawer closes when some UI controls clicked inside plugins

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior, e.g. for Fusion:

1. Go to Search
2. Click on resource with 'Electrophysiological Recording Viewer' plugin
3. Select stimulus from dropdown
4. See error i.e. drawer closes

Expected behavior
Drawer should remain open when UI elements within are clicked.
