Compatibility

  • PHP 8.2 and 8.3 remain supported.
  • DevElation ^1.3.44 is the minimum supported dependency line.
  • Engine::instance($name = null) now preserves the inherited named-instance signature required by DevElation releases.
  • Composer projects can adopt this release with bluefission/bluecore:^0.1.4@alpha.

Framework changes

  • Adds stable DevElation hooks and filters across Engine, gateway, registration, add-on, datasource, installation, response, template, and error lifecycles.
  • Keeps DevElation integration inactive by default and preserves existing framework behavior when no callbacks are registered.
  • Enforces typed filter results, sanitized observational payloads, re-entry protection, and existing authorization and containment boundaries.
  • Adds documented compatibility behavior for the earlier dynamic-gateway hook name.

Verification

  • Strict Composer validation and PHP lint pass.
  • PHPUnit passes 163 tests with 664 assertions.
  • Project-installer source/dist parity passes.
  • Composer advisory audit reports no known vulnerabilities.
  • Packagist resolves this tag to source commit 99b1789d162adae71320762917802fae57bd1667.
  • A clean Composer install resolves BlueCore v0.1.4-alpha with DevElation v1.3.44, and reflection confirms the Engine method exposes one optional instance-name parameter.
