BlueNode 0.1.6-alpha.1 — Shared phone and PC favorites
Download BlueNode-Setup.exe below for Windows x64.
Favorites and their names now live on the node, so phone and PC dashboards share the same list. Import older browser favorites using the dashboard button. Changes refresh automatically; conflicting edits are rejected instead of silently overwriting another device. Recent Nodes and Auto-switch remain browser preferences.

Requires an existing working Debian 12 ASL3 node with SSH/sudo. The Windows app is self-contained and unsigned. Keep it open while using its private dashboard connection. It opens existing installations without replacing code; use the guided update instructions to upgrade. Customized installations need review before updating.
Validation: all 268 Python tests on Linux, 14 JavaScript suites, three isolated deployment scenarios, Windows deployment checks, and source privacy checks passed. The Windows package matches release source. Fresh Windows installation, password/key sign-in, interrupted-client recovery, guided upgrade, injected-failure rollback, and failed-install cleanup passed in an isolated ASL3 VM, with Asterisk unchanged. An operator confirmed matching favorites on an actual phone and PC after a reviewed customized deployment.
This is an alpha ready for external testing. Wider hardware and endurance testing remain; these results are not a guarantee for every installation. SHA256SUMS verifies the Windows download.
BlueNode 0.1.5-alpha.1 — Easier dashboard controls
Download BlueNode-Setup.exe below for Windows x64. This package includes the latest dashboard: Favorites with Connect, Disconnect, Edit name and Remove; a remembered Auto-switch toggle for manual connections; and a dashboard guide that opens in a separate tab. The installer and welcome page invite installation and dashboard issue reports.

Requires an existing working Debian 12 ASL3 node with SSH/sudo. The Windows app is self-contained and unsigned. Keep it open while using its private dashboard connection. Existing installations are opened without replacing code; use the guided update instructions for upgrades.
The rebuilt executable passed its runtime/package check, all bundled files match release source, and GitHub regression checks passed. The installation engine is unchanged from the previously validated installer. This remains an early-testing alpha; broader Raspberry Pi hardware and external-user testing are still needed. See docs/WINDOWS_SETUP_VALIDATION.md for the distinction between package checks and prior VM integration testing.
BlueNode 0.1.4-alpha.1 — Dashboard guide
Understand your dashboard
This release adds a plain-language guide to every dashboard section and control, including the difference between preset Saved nodes, personal Favorites, and Recent Nodes. Open it from the dashboard header or the welcome page after installation.
Read the dashboard guide · Windows walkthrough · Terminal setup
Download BlueNode-Setup.exe below for Windows x64. Enter your working Debian 12 ASL3 node login, confirm the station, install, and open the dashboard. Keep the app open for private SSH access. No separate .NET installation is required. The guide is bundled locally; reading it sends no commands to your radio.
The Windows app remains an unsigned early-testing alpha and may show a Windows reputation/publisher warning. It requires an existing working ASL3 node with SSH/sudo and does not configure a blank Pi. Existing installations are opened without replacement; updates use the explicit backed-up CLI workflow.
This guide update passed desktop/mobile rendering, section navigation, welcome/local-file/fresh-dashboard and five-viewport dashboard checks, plus Windows package/runtime and GitHub checks. Radio control behavior is unchanged. The prior release’s installation validation and hardware limitations remain applicable.
BlueNode 0.1.3-alpha.1 — Windows easy setup
Download for Windows
Download BlueNode-Setup.exe below. Open it, enter your node address and Linux login, then use Find my station → Install BlueNode → Open dashboard. No terminal commands, configuration-file editing, or separate .NET installation. Keep the app open for its private dashboard connection.
Windows walkthrough · Linux/Mac terminal setup · Validation and limits
Requires Windows x64 and an existing working Debian 12 AllStarLink 3 node with SSH/sudo. This does not install ASL3 on a blank Pi. The alpha Windows app is unsigned, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher/reputation warning; follow your computer security policy. Download only from this repository. SHA256SUMS.txt identifies the asset.
Existing installations are verified and opened without replacing settings/code. Fresh setup uses a dedicated service account, leaves automatic recovery off, and preserves Asterisk configuration/process. Installation continues on the node if the Windows connection drops; reconnect to check progress. Failed fresh installs clean up their partial files. Updates use the existing explicit backed-up guided CLI workflow.
Validated with 254 Python tests in the isolated installer fixture, all 12 dashboard suites, three installer/deployment scenarios, and actual Windows-to-ASL3 lab tests covering key/password login, private tunnel access, fresh install, disconnect/reconnect, failed-install cleanup, and unchanged Asterisk process/configuration. Windows build/runtime checks ran locally. Hardware/endurance and broader external beta testing remain outstanding.
BlueNode 0.1.2-alpha.1 — Guided setup
Get started
For an existing working Debian 12 ASL3 node, run this in its SSH terminal:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/BlueKF0OZX/BlueNode/v0.1.2-alpha.1/install/bootstrap.sh | sudo bashBeginner guide · Validation and limits
Guided setup detects local nodes, asks for your callsign and access choice, creates the service account, checks startup, and prints the dashboard link. No manual JSON edits or second installer pass. Includes a browser welcome page and Recent Nodes Disconnect button.
Existing installations are checked without changes. Explicit guided updates create private backups and restore on failed checks. Recovery stays off on new installations; trusted-LAN access requires confirmation. Asterisk configuration and process are preserved.
This is an alpha for early testing, not a blank-Pi image. Existing custom installations should review the upgrade guide before replacing local changes. Independent hardware endurance and external HTTPS acceptance remain outstanding.
