GPU Selector v1.3.4

A bigger Modding Codex, safer mod installs, and 3D crosshairs for DOOM games.

Games

• Hide games, and keep a Play Next list (right-click a game)
• All your added games show, and games with special letters in their folder start
• The window stays responsive while a game starts
• Changing a game's GPU updates everything GPU Selector set for it
• Disable Device asks first and warns about a black screen
• Turn off the DLSS Frame Generation file for games it breaks (opt-in, never deleted)

GPUs and Apps

• Monitors show under the right GPU, and HDR only changes the monitor you pick
• Your GPU choice follows the card, even when Windows changes the order
• The GPUs tab updates by itself when you plug in a screen or GPU
• Custom apps get their GPU, and the Apps tab keeps your changes

Emulators

• New emulators, new groups, and Get with the Codex for 20 of them
• More of your games show up, with their real names
• Hide emulators, and uninstall them (your ROMs and BIOS files are kept)

Modding Codex

• 821 projects
• Get, Update and Launch for GitHub and GitLab projects
• Like shows similar projects, and Game Files points a project to your game
• 18+ projects stay hidden until you turn them on in Parental Settings

Mods: Safer

• Uninstall only removes what GPU Selector installed
• Every download is scanned, big files too, and checked against known-malware lists
• GitHub downloads are checked against GitHub's checksum
• Games in Program Files work after one admin prompt
• ReShade keeps a backup when you remove it
• Proxy Uninstaller (right-click a game): remove ReShade, or other programs' DLLs left in a game folder. Only what you tick, to the Recycle Bin

Modding Cards

• Modding Tools is now called Modding Cards
• Cards can have a guide, tabs, colors, a font, locked downloads and their own login site
• Load cards from a link or a .zip, safely checked first
• Removing a card can take its files off your games too
• Many fixes from a full check of every card feature
• Card Installs in Settings: see everything cards put on your PC, and remove it per game or all at once
• Play buttons show the Inject Mode syringe when ReShade will go into the game too

DOOM Card

• 3D in Steam games made with GZDoom, like Hedon and Mohrta
• A 3D crosshair that sits at the depth of what you aim at
• The weapon hand sits at the right depth in 3D
• 3D sound for headphones
• Zandronum port, and 20 more mods from itch.io, like Halodoom and Venturous
• Tip: if a game crashes on an AMD card, turn off Discord's Game Detection

• GPU Selector updates itself from the update icon
• New shader repositories: SweetFX, Barbatos, AlucardDH and iMMERSE
• Download Safety in Settings: turn the known-malware check on or off
• Settings are saved safely, and more settings stay after a restart
