- A drag-to-Applications disk image for the Mac app, published for Apple silicon and Intel with each release. It carries the App Store helper, so installing it needs neither Python nor Go.

- Version lookup for apps whose newest release the App Store declines to serve. Apple returns an app's build history only alongside a build it will hand back, so a declined current release hid the whole history and ended the search before any compatibility check ran. appfit now re-reads the history from a build it has already recorded and continues.
- Builds the App Store declines are no longer recommended or offered for download.

- Store refusals are reported in plain language — which app Apple is not offering, that the target device is not the cause, and when to retry — in place of ipatool's
invalid response. The Mac GUI shows the detail beneath a one-line headline; the command line indents continuation lines under the failure. - The pinned ipatool patch also reports
externalVersionIdentifiersfromget-version-metadata, which is what makes history recovery possible. - The README is organised around how appfit is used — Mac app or terminal, with a cable or without — rather than around its modes, and shows the Mac app.
scripts/capture_screenshots.pyrenders those images from stand-in data, so no Apple ID, device name, or UDID appears in them.
