Troubleshooting
This page is for common issues that you may encounter when using PSVR2Toolkit.
If you are using the experimental release, older apps (including the VRCFT module) use an older version of the IPC (interprocess communication) protocol. You will need to get the CAPIApps-<platform>.zip zip, extract it anywhere you want, and launch psvr2_toolkit_legacy_ipc_server. Then you can launch VRCFT or any legacy IPC app.
If you are using 0.2.1 (not experimental), you do not need to use CAPIApps. You likely have a firewall issue. Make sure vrserver.exe is allowed through the firewall.
This is a known (and intentional) issue with the experimental release. We will later completely replace this app.
Set up your play area. SteamVR will make you upside down in OpenXR apps if you don't.
Use PSVR2Toolkit.UnitySetup to setup your play area. You can also set up eye tracking calibration using it.
If you want to use the stock setup app, you will likely have it installed at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PlayStation VR2 App\PlayAreaSetup\PlayAreaSetup.exe
