v2.0.0
AIHelper v2.0.0
AIHelper 2.0.0 expands encrypted PostgreSQL credentials and makes secret entry more practical in terminal and browser workflows. Existing password-only PostgreSQL entries remain usable, while new entries capture the connection context needed to select a database with one credential ID.
Highlights
- PostgreSQL credentials can carry host, user, password, port, database, and SSL mode.
- SSH private keys can be entered as hidden multiline terminal input without argv or temporary files.
- Protected edit forms retain stored values when fields are left empty.
- GitHub and GitLab token credentials have end-to-end vault-to-plugin coverage.
What’s Changed
✨ New
- Terminal
ssh-keysetup accepts hidden multiline private keys. Enter.on its own line after the final key line.
🚀 Improvements
- New PostgreSQL vault credentials require
host, user, andpassword;port, database, andsslmodeare optional. Operationalpostgres.*commands fill unset connection arguments from the credential, while explicit arguments still win.
🐛 Fixes
- Protected browser edit forms no longer force users to re-enter stored values.
ah ai infolists all five supported secret kinds, includinggithub-tokenandgitlab-token.
⚠️ Compatibility
- Breaking: Creating a new PostgreSQL vault credential now requires
host, user, andpassword. - Existing password-only PostgreSQL entries remain readable and usable with explicit connection arguments or libpq defaults.
- The plugin ABI remains version 1.
