Highlights

• EPUB and TXT reading loads chapters on demand, prepares nearby content as you read, and keeps the current page visible until an updated revision is ready.

• Reading history projections can be rebuilt from durable session facts, with bounded recovery when stored projection versions are inconsistent.

Changed

• The default service port is now 18423 instead of 3000 for Docker and source deployments. The frontend development port remains 5173; explicit PORT settings remain supported.
• Reader chapter delivery uses bounded shared caches, cancellation, and nearby-content prefetch. Reader loading and error states now use consistent, theme-aware views.
• Notification, note archive, review, and catalog trash reads batch database work while preserving existing access checks and pagination.

Fixed

• Owners can open their hidden private books directly and continue reading them without making those books appear in default listings.
• Reader content updates keep the current page until the replacement renderer is ready; failed replacements preserve the existing reader.

Upgrade notes

• Back up the complete DATA_DIR before upgrading. Migration 0056 adds reading projection state and fields used to rebuild daily projections and paginate session history. Downgrading requires the pre-upgrade data with the matching previous release.
• Update Docker port mappings and reverse-proxy upstreams for the new default, or keep the public port with a mapping such as 3000:18423. Pull/rebuild the image and recreate the container; in-app updates do not replace the old launcher or health check. If retaining an old image for in-app updates, first recreate it with PORT=3000 explicitly set.

升级说明

• 升级前请备份完整 DATA_DIR。迁移 0056 新增阅读投影状态及字段，用于重建每日投影并支持会话历史分页。降级须使用升级前的数据和对应旧版本。
• 请同步调整 Docker 端口映射和反向代理上游地址；如需保留原访问端口，可使用 3000:18423 映射。请拉取或重新构建镜像并重建容器，面板更新不会替换旧启动器和健康检查。若保留旧镜像使用面板更新，需先显式设置 PORT=3000 并重建容器。
